EMS clinical practice continues to evolve, but outdated, misleading, or flat out wrong practices seem to have have a life of their own. If you've heard someone parroting these myths, you probably asked "where on earth did you hear that??" and likely also heard "my instructor said so!" But don't tear your hair out or consider extreme measures yet...we're going to have some fun debunking the old, questioning the new, knocking down some obstacles, and generally stirring the pot. We'll challenge conventional wisdom that gets repeated in classrooms, social media, and printed on t-shirts, and we'll discuss strategies to check ourselves and bust EMS Myths.
