Bobbie Merica is a multi-award innovator, moulage leader, international speaker, author, and founder of Medical Moulage Inc. and AOIFA.org. Bridging her experience in immersive scenario modeling to scientific art, she has developed training programs, moulage certification, and competency standardization in over 130 state and federal agencies, spanning five countries, and pioneering a new industry.
Mrs. Merica began her career in Simulation Modeling, specializing in program development, implementation, and design before becoming the CEO and Founder of Moulage Concepts Inc. With an extensive knowledge of interactive wound evolution and scenario staging, Bobbie’s mission was to bridge stories in sensory training to identify areas for growth and risk mitigation through a unique combination of simulation and moulage realism. Upon discovering the absence of Moulage specific to a clinical/hospital environment, Bobbie pioneered the first of a series of interactive medical art scenarios to enhance performance proficiency, adaptive training customization, and hazard identification, CORE techniques she developed and teaches in her “Art & Science of Realism” workshops.
Ms. Merica’s extensive medical art and scenarios are published in over 430 international and scenario development articles for diversified stakeholders, including first responders, emergency managers, clinicians, military, CBRN, and wilderness medicine.
