What if the key to solving EMS workforce shortages is sitting in our classrooms today? By introducing high school students to EMS, we can ignite passion for the field, create strong pathways into the profession, and improve long-term retention. In this session, I will share my experience as a high school teacher in a school-based Emergency Medicine program, highlighting how hands-on learning and early exposure not only prepare students for success but also builds the future of EMS.
