Clinician, Educator, Leader. Gary brings Almost 40 years of EMS experience to the table. Gary started in college with the Stony Brook Volunteer Ambulance (SBVAC). Gary has held paid and volunteer positions in the NYC 911 system, and other regions of the U.S. He is an ALS provider at the Baldwin Fire Department on Long Island, NY. An EMS Educator for over 30 years, Gary is a New York State Certified EMS Instructor. His 33-year career as a Registered Nurse includes clinical experience in Emergency and Critical Care. After over 20 years in Hospital based Nursing Education, Gary is now the Injury prevention, Education and Outreach Coordinator a major Level 1 Trauma Center in NYC. In his not so spare time, Gary is also a member of a Federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT).
